Go Tennis Projekt Paraguay – Pioniergeist Familie Lang-Johnson: Als wir Tennis-Infrastruktur aus dem Nichts erschufen
Diese Bilder dokumentieren eines unserer beeindruckendsten Projekte der Vergangenheit. In Paraguay haben wir bewiesen, dass wir eine Vision von der „grünen Wiese“ bis zum Spielbetrieb realisieren können. Auch wenn die Anlage heute als Tennisanlage Geschichte ist, bleibt sie ein Beweis für unsere Macher-Mentalität:
Vom ersten Stein an: Wo am Anfang nur Wildnis war, bauten wir zuerst das Gästehaus und danach das Haupthaus. Es war ein echtes „Build-from-scratch“-Projekt.
Abenteuerliche Technik: Um Internet zu haben, errichteten wir einen eigenen Metallturm, gesichert durch Drahtseile. Die Ausrichtung der Schüssel zur nächsten Antenne erfolgte manuell mit dem Fernglas – ein technischer Kraftakt, der uns den Zugang zur digitalen Welt (und Google) sicherte.
Profi-Plätze & Flutlicht: Wir starteten mit zwei Sandplätzen, wandelten einen davon jedoch später in einen Hartplatz um. Gegossen in Beton und beschichtet mit der speziellen Hartplatz-Farbe, wie man sie von den US Open kennt. Die Beleuchtung? Zehn 100-Dollar-Betonpfeiler aus Asunción, bestückt mit Philips Stadionstrahlern.
Was dieses Projekt über uns aussagt: Es zeigt unseren Hintergrund. Wir sind keine Theoretiker. Wir haben gelernt, unter schwierigen Bedingungen Lösungen zu finden, Infrastruktur aufzubauen und internationale Standards durchzusetzen. Diese Hartnäckigkeit und technische Präzision nutzen wir heute, um Karrieren im Tennisbereich zu fördern und US-College-Tennis zu erklären und zu planen.
